"The Matrix," Blade Runner," Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," District 9 and "Blade Runner" are my top sci-fi films. Each of these movies offers unique and thought-provoking commentary on themes such as artificial intelligence, humanity's relationship with technology, and prejudice/discrimination. Although these movies were made decades ago they still hold relevance in a world that is constantly grappling with the same issues. We won't even begin to talk about the stunning special effects and movie magic which make these movies visually breathtaking. These films have shaped my view of science fiction. I recommend that you check them out if possible. Please, do not watch "Independence Day" nor any of "Transformers" films. Your brain cells will appreciate it, trust me.
